We are looking for Failure Analysis Technician (Radiography) in Cupertino, CA - Onsite

 

Job Description:

 

- Work with X-ray and CT techniques to assist in the development and failure analysis of consumer electronics

Scope:

- Radiography and CT scan setup and image acquisition on industrial CT scanners

- Collect and process CT data for review by FA engineers and cross-functional teams

- Consumer electronic system and part handling

- Careful handling and organization of lab samples

- Cross functional communication of data

- Availability for swing/overnight shifts required. Occasional weekend coverage also expected

Education:

BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field

Skills and Experience:

- Experience working in a lab setting

- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Communicate technical information crisply

- Manage multiple projects at once with shifting priorities

- Well organized; must be able to keep lab samples organized

- Experience with Failure Analysis techniques such as Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, XRD, LIT, SEM, EDS, FIB, FTIR, GCMS etc. is preferred
