Role: Mainframe Assembler Developer (IBM BAL)
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Visa: USC/GC/H4 EAD
🔹 Required Skills:
✅ 15+ years of IBM Mainframe Assembler (BAL) development experience
✅ Strong hands-on experience with the Connex payment switching platform (Mandatory)
✅ Expertise using Xpediter for debugging and troubleshooting
✅ Deep knowledge of payment processing systems, AFD (Automated Fuel Dispenser) workflows, and pre-authorization/clearing cycles
✅ Experience with high-volume, real-time transaction processing environments
✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills
🔹 Preferred:
✔️ Experience with Visa ISO 8583 messaging standards
✔️ Background in large-scale banking/payment modernization or migration projects
