We have an immediate need for a DataStage Adminstrator resource for a (3) week project in California. This project involves providing DataStage install services.

Job Description:

 

This is a hand’s on Systems Administrator to perform build, installation, configuration, patching, maintenance, and support of DataStage products. This is not a developer.

·         Excellent oral and written communications skills

·         8+ years IT industry experience (total)

·         5+ years of Data Integration and Warehousing experience

·         4+ years hands on experience with DataStage (v7 and V8)

·         Data Analysis and modeling, including dimensional and metadata modeling

·         ETL Development / Architecture and design

·         IBM Information Server installation and configuration

·         Strong database development skills, SQL expert

·         Experience working with senior business and IT executives to gather and elaborating requirements

·         Solid experience with Unix shell scripting

·         Willingness to travel on a weekly basis, Monday - Thursday.

·         Past consulting experience highly desired

·         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
