Hey all.
My company (SA International, based in SLC) builds desktop software for the sign and banner industry. Our flagship is a design application similar to Photoshop, but with features specific to designing and printing signs. Our second product helps sign makers design physical signs they cut out on CNC routers.
We’re opening two positions for senior software engineers, Cloud/License Server Lead and Online Design Software Engineer.
The Cloud/License Server Lead position requires substantial experience with AWS (EC2, ElasticBeanstalk, S3, Batch, Lambda, SQS, SNS), MongoDB, Ruby on Rails as well as competency with JS, Java, basic networking and API development. In this role, the individual will lead a small team responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the licensing server, API, database and subscription service integration, supporting close to one million software licenses.

The Online Design Software Engineer will join the team building a web-based version of our desktop design software. We are looking for substantial experience building rich JS applications, ideally in online design tools. TypeScript, Svelte, document database and CRDT experience is a plus.
