I want to start a surgical coaching program at Kaiser, kind of based on this article
http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2011/10/03/personal-best
& also some of the work of Dr Greenberg @ U of Wisconsin. Have any of you ever participated in surgical coaching (either on the giving or receiving end)?
xo, b
I have not participated in a surgical coaching program but we have been talking about it in our section too. Our neurosurgeons have instituted a similar program and have found it very valuable.
Would love to hear how it goes, B

I'll let you know! Do you know if the neurosurgeons coached each other and if so, where they got their coaching training?
That would be awesome, thank you Blair! :-)
Oh, REALLY? I just might have to reach out to him... ;-)
