OK I'm taking a poll.... What's everyone doing about this morcellator FDA debacle???

I haven't used a morcellator in ages. I've been doing vaginal hysterectomy + laparoscopic sacral colpopexy. We're going to publish our results soon - just submitted the manuscript - comparable mesh erosion rates, no differences in outcomes compared to SCH BUT limited by low numbers of follow up.

Have done SCH with morcellator due to concern of erosion.
Will be doing more TVH or open ASC.

Since I'm retarded with straight sticks, I use robot with gel point and pull out specimen through there. I love the vag hyst + lsc colpopexy. I'm trying to learn straight sticks ... It's taking forever to do a case :(

Thanks!!! The FDA thing is so stupid & kaiser came out with an almost equally stupid stance so we are trying to figure out what to do. Hopefully the pendulum will swing back soon...

We've been doing vag hysts with robotic/laparoscopic colpopexy. I attach mesh from above. Lovely procedure and so happy Amy is publishing manuscript! We were about to look at our data as well. Super excited about it.

One year but we had low numbers of people who came in for exam
