Bruno,
I have been able to run simple python programs out of IDLE, like
"HelloWorld.py". I will work through the tutorial to check the more
object-oriented version of that program, but below is what happens if
I run urltree.py directly in IDLE.

Frank and Bruno,

Some of the test 'main' functions in the library modules are out of
date - they were the basis of the example programs and I stopped
updating them once the examples were working. Try urltree1.py rather
than urltree.py. I'll be online more on Sunday and much more starting
on Monday once I get to NetSci 2009 in Venice, so I can help more
then. Thanks again fro helping Frank, Bruno!
