To:
ENR...@listserv.uri.eduHi All!
Just wanted to pass along another great summer opportunity from Green and
Healthy Homes Initiative. (Check out their organization!
http://greenandhealthyhomes.org/) GHHI is currently working with Brown
University and URI Students
. This would be great for anyone interested in sustainable urban
development and green homes.
Hours are flexible for students.
Research Internship Credit is available.
Great opportunity to get your name published.
Your work will benefit low income families in RI.
Even if you are not around the Providence area or leaving RI for the summer
you can still get involved!

independent study)
*Project Overview*
The Providence based GHHI team is managing the development of a state-wide
GHHI Master Housing Resource Guide. A completed guide will accomplish two
primary goals:
1. Provide a comprehensive analysis of the home performance
industries of Rhode Island by taking inventory to identify gaps and
opportunities in the areas of GHHI related housing policy, workforce
development and housing rehab funding/ incentives;
2. Deliver a user friendly tool for Rhode Island residents to easily
and effectively find information about the multiple components of a house
and make linkages with potential health and safety hazards. Additionally*, *it
will guide residents in ways they can better maintain a safer, healthier
and more energy efficient house, find important available funding/
financing resources, and find professional industry certified local
contractors.
