Hi Bianca,

My name is Lisa, I am the assistant director with Environment Rhode Island in Providence. Now that school is coming to a close I am working to  connect with students in Rhode Island about summer job opportunities with Environment Rhode Island and other public interest groups nationwide.

 The Fund for the Public Interest is a nonprofit group that runs canvass offices in Providence and other cities around the country to do outreach, education, and fundraising for organizations like Environment Rhode Island. In our Providence office this summer, we'll be working to build support to protect Narragansett Bay from plastic pollution by banning plastic bags.

Positions are appropriate for all majors and class years.
