Well Hello SASers!

We had our last meeting this past Monday and I want to thank all of those who were able to attend. We had a lot of fun reminiscing about Earth Day, sharing our sunburn stories, and thinking about SAS's upcoming year

The consensus was that Earth Day 4/17 was a great success!
  • We lucked out with weather and club turnout was pretty good BUT we have a lot of room for improvement. I'm sure we can make it even more amazing next year!
  • A list of next years must haves will be left in the office! Top of the list: SUNBLOCK :)
We have a lot of ideas for next year mainly concerning recruitment. Therefore, that is going to be a priority during the summer and fall. SAS is amazing and must be shared with the world!! Am I right??
  • Summer Orientation will be held in June so we will be needing about two SAS members to help out with the sustainability on campus presentations each time. Some of you already said you'd be able to do a couple so lookout for the dates when we email those out! And anyone interested should email me or Bianca.

This Saturday (4/27) at 10am SAS, and whoever else is interested, will be meeting at Peckham Farm to help out Tyler with his permaculture project. You might get dirty so dress appropriately!

SASers, this has been a really great semester and I am sad to be saying goodbye to all the wonderful members (many of whom are also graduating). So to say a proper farewell we will be having a Picnic on the Quad (weather permitting) on May 4th around 12pm. I think we'll be doing this potluck style so email me what you want to bring/make just so we don't end up with a lunch of only chips and cookies...not saying that would be a baaad thing but you know...nutrition and such.

I hope to see you guys before the end of the year but if not remember to always
Stay SASy !
