This year the UCLA Costen Institute of Archaeology will be holding 20
field schools in 14 different countries on almost every continent.
Projects cover a wide swath of ancient time periods, and offer
excavation, survey, computer modeling, bioarchaeology, and many other
training opportunities for students.
The UCLA Field Program offers:
-unique opportunities to participate in active research projects
across the globe
-four types of programs: field archaeology, museology, conservation,
and archaeological science
-projects directed by leading scholars
-12 units of UCLA credit for each program
-a range of scholarships and financial aid packages
