Mandatory requirements:

  • Must be in Houston area – no out of state
  • 3-5 years TOTAL experience, manager does not want extensive experience
  • 2-3 years of focused on IT initiatives
  • Any visa works
  • The role is onsite Monday - Friday.  Downtown Houston location
  • Interviews: 1 round Onsite/ IN PERSON, candidates must provide samples of a PowerPoint presentation slide and communication/writing sample (1-2 pages) prior to interview.

About the job

 

Our client is located in Downtown Houston and looking to add an IT Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst to their team. This is a 6-9+ month contract role.

Onsite Requirement: Monday - Thursday (opportunity for remote Fridays)

 

3-5 TOTAL years required (This is an analyst level, not seeking additional years of experience)

 

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst will help implement the organizational change management strategy and tools to support change initiatives and activities within an IT organization. The individual will be instrumental in driving and managing the following activities with key stakeholders: Stakeholder Analysis, Leadership Alignment, Communication and Engagement Planning and Execution, Change Impact Analysis, Training Needs Analysis and Development, and Change Measurement.

 

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.

• 3-5 years’ experience in IT change management, 2-3 years of which are focused on IT initiatives.

• No more than 5 years of experience

• Experience managing large-scale IT change initiatives and activities and working in complex, matrixed organizations.

• Proven experience leading change in large-scale adoption across multiple teams or departments.

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end change management process and tools from Stakeholder Analysis, Leadership Alignment, Communication and Engagement Planning and Execution, Change Impact Analysis, Training Needs Analysis and Development, and Change Measurement.

• Ability to create professional presentations in PowerPoint, create spreadsheets in Excel, and create documents in Word.

 

Required Experience:

  • Operational change management experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must have samples of a PowerPoint presentation slide and communication/writing sample (1-2 pages).

 

Preferred:

  • Prosci certification, Training experience, IT experience, Utility industry experience
