Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Java Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, REST APIs, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments is highly preferred.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and JVM concepts
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations
- Strong experience with Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking/Financial domain
- Knowledge of security standards, OAuth2, JWT, SSO
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience working with high-volume transactional systems
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications
- Build and deploy microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Mentor junior developers and support technical leadership initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
