We’re looking for an experienced security professional who can apply their experience toward medical device cyber security.
Key qualifications:
· Need someone with experience implementing cybersecurity measures and controls into mobile / server applications. Need to possess strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and best practices. Knowledge and experience with developing and securing applications leveraging Azure is a strong plus.
· This is potentially a contract to hire position, even though we don’t have an approved head count at this point.
· Looking to start someone as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical direction on security strategy and technology to build safe, secure products. Senior Engineer Product Security will help with assessment and design of existing and new programs. Areas of responsibility will include security design, threat modeling, security testing, and cybersecurity event monitoring and response.
Job Duties:
· Provides cybersecurity expertise and assists in designing control measures into new and existing medical device products and customer facing digital solutions
· Develops and maintains technical expertise pertaining to cybersecurity and effectively transfers knowledge to applicable stakeholders within the organization, including quality, regulatory and R&D team members
· Participates in the development and integration of the cyber security program across the medical device division, including processes regarding the implementation of security mitigations, responding to security incidents, and the consistent handling of security events
· Assists with performing threat modeling and risk assessments of existing and new Abbott medical devices and customer facing digital solutions
· Anticipates business and industry regulatory issues to provide recommendations and solutions to potential issues or vulnerabilities
· Manages and monitors security remediation efforts to successful completion
· Develops and effectively executes project plans, work breakdown structure and task dependencies, communication plans, etc. as needed
· Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
· Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota

CRM system (Customer Relationship Management System) using installation base.
Looking for someone who has the experience with CRM System installation experience.
IM (Inventory Management) experience (this relations to a bit of Supply Chain experience)
It is 2 modules IM and I base (One is SAP CRM and one is SAP ECC)
Someone that has I base knowledge
· They will be working on projects in which they will interact with business users
· Translate requirements into documentation
· Create list of user requirements, user specifications
· Work with SAP developer
· Functional Analyst is what you are looking for
· Will work with the developer to make the changes to SAP
· Will do the unit testing to make sure the new programs work
· Writing the testing scripts

DESCRIPTION:
The Cybersecurity Sr. Specialist support cybersecurity operations by designing, developing or recommending secure technical solutions, including policy, standards, applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure that are operationally viable and efficient. Ensure appropriate application of security products and technologies to protect the organizations systems and information and enable achievement of the organizations objectives. Manage and design innovative integration of cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities, as a means of improving the security posture. Perform analysis of emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable secure implementation of new technologies.
Duties:
Develop a risk-based cyber security program which meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry leading information security practices.
Perform threat identification and mitigation activities using industry leading security controls and tools sets.
Advance the Companys cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cyber security threats, events, and vulnerabilities.
Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures for those threats.
Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling the business.
Apply technical knowledge to protect the Company against cyber threats (e.g., knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, data loss prevention solutions, endpoint protections, log aggregation technology and other leading-edge security technologies).
Facilitate cross team coordination to achieve defined security goals as well as meet technical requirements in support of detailed implementation plans for security projects. Manage security projects to ensure the timely, on budget, and effective implementation of cyber security improvements that are operationally supported with validation methods in place to measure effectiveness.
Perform assessment of cyber security incidents to identify the root cause, respond, and recover the environment. Develop strategies, policy and standards to protect company information and technology assets.
Manage capital and operational expense budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and administration.
Required: At least 5 years of experience but typically 7 plus years of experience is required.
Possess expertise in valuing and implementing industry standards such as the ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST and FedRAMP Information Security standard and the ISO 22301 Business Continuity Standard. Experience with implementation and operational use of GRC toolsets (Governance Risk and Compliance).
Possess CISSP certification (or similar) and be knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS

Qualifications:
General Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline with ten (10) plus years of progressively more responsible work experience in quality assurance and design related to medical devices, preferably in electro-mechanical and implantable medical devices (class III and IV).
• Broad cross-disciplinary and in-depth knowledge and experience with industry accepted quality assurance design methodologies and project management tools.
• Direct cybersecurity and product development experience.
• Five years or more in quality or R&D engineering management.
• Desired: An advanced credential in a relevant discipline/concentration. Professional certification or designation, such as CQE, CSQE, CRE and/or CMQ/OE.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
