George is a sweet old man that was found 5/13 wandering in a dollar store. Thanks to the automatic doors he let himself in. We’re not sure what he was shopping for but luckily, he found some assistance and made his way here. Sadly, George was not reclaimed and now he’s hoping for a new home where he can rest on a soft, comfy bed. George is very underweight and only 28lbs. Besides being thin, he has dental disease and a suspected tooth root abscess. He also appears to have some nerve damage to the right side of his face, which doesn’t seem to bother him. George is about 11yrs, neutered, and heartworm negative. Seniors don’t do well in the shelter and due to his poor condition, he needs rescue as soon as possible. George is so cute, super sweet, and smart. He is treat motivated and knows sit, stay, shake, and down.
