View this email in your browser IMMEDIATE Rescue Needed!  She needs rescue commitment by end of today - 4pm 3/5!  This sweet girl was brought to the shelter 2/23. She had been seen loose and injured for about a week prior to being contained in a yard. She cannot bear weight on her left hind leg. She has a broken left femur (femoral neck fracture), which requires surgery as soon as possible. She is also heartworm positive and intact. Her stray hold will be over 3/2, but potentially can leave early upon rescue commitment. Please let us know if you can help. She is only 1yr old and 44lbs.  Vet notes 2/25 BAR. BCS = 2/9. MM - pink, moist. H&L -clear. Abd - soft, nonpainful. Toe touching lame left rear. Sedate and Rads: Femoral neck fracture.
