Friends To The Forlorn helped the family that had this dog back in January 2015 get in vetted (it is not an FTTF dog).  FTTF fully vetted the dog including spay, vaccines, chip.  The family dumped the dog at the pound because they couldn't deal with her food aggression issues.  She is also Deaf.  DOB is 4/20/14 so she is 1 year and 4 months old and is an American Bulldog Mix. She is due for her next vaccines on 9/17/15 and she was spayed on 10/15/14.  We can give all the vet records to any rescue that possibly can help take this dog in and find her a forever home.  If anyone is interested in rescuing Luna please email animal...@cherokeega.com

Cage Presentation       Comes towards front of cage in a calm solicitous manner (loose relaxed body)
Food Bowl       Continued to eat but did not show any signs of uneasiness
Sociability Part 1      Dog made eye contact, jumped on you, or leaned against tester
Sociability Part 2      Dog stayed in place, moved closer or calmly solicited more interaction
Sociability Part 3      Dog came over to tester within 5 sec then moved away calmly
Teeth Exam      Allows 5 seconds without struggle
Dog to Dog Interaction Part 1   Remains calm with or without interest in the other dog
Dog to Dog Interaction Part 2   Relaxed, friendly with other dog, invited play or displayed submissive behavior

The requirements to work with our shelter are as follows:
In State Rescue Groups:

  *   Must submit copy of a Georgia Dept of Agriculture License.
  *   May be asked to complete our Rescue Application.

Out of state Rescue Groups:

  *   Must coordinate with a Georgia Licensed rescue group and pull the animal under a Georgia license.
  *   Animal must be spayed/neutered before transport.
