15541 Athena and 15542 Mulan in kennel 58

These “sisters” were surrendered on December 7th because their owner had a housing issue. Both of them were on the nervous side, but they seem to have opened up since coming to the shelter. Our volunteers think they are both very sweet and easy to walk. Athena and Mulan don’t have to be adopted/rescued together, but we think it would be best if they could stay together in their next chapter. They are currently our longest residents at 80 days!!!

Athena’s Stats:

Velma and her “sister” Grace were surrendered by their owner on December 23rd due to housing and financial difficulties. Grace has been adopted, leaving Velma here on her own. Now it’s Velma’s turn! Her owner said she was good with cats, dogs, and kids, and is house broken and crate trained. Volunteers say Velma is a snuggly, sweet girl who loves to run around the off-leash area.

Clover was brought to the shelter on December 23rd as a stray. The person that found her said they took her in for a few days to look for an owner but was not successful. They said she got along well with their dog during her stay in their home. Here at the shelter, we’ve noticed Clover is a power chewer! She loves her Kongs and other hard toys. Our volunteers say she is very sweet and walks nicely on leash. How can you say no to those ears!
