Subject: $$$ Max - Shepherd Mix needs rescue NOW  (Cobb County, GA)
Reply-To: Caroline  <witt...@yahoo.com>

Max needs an email waiting for him first thing in the morning or he will be killed. The shelter is full and they are being forced to make hard decisions.

Max has $600 in sponsorship money and is fully vetted.

Out of time - URGENT!!! Marietta, GA available for adoption or rescue!!! May need to be an only dog. $600 in sponsorship money to licensed rescues.

My Story
Max was adopted from the shelter in 2011 and thought he had a forever home. He is now a senior and was left at the shelter on April 10th. His owner is being deployed and rest of the family doesn't want the responsibility of the dog. Max could get out of his 4 ft. fence and went visiting. Max is stressed and afraid. Max is well behaved, sits, is great on the leash, His cage card says he needs to be the only pet but Max has been great with everyone he's met at the shelter. Max is 9 years old and weighs 56 pounds. He is reported to be good with kids and house trained. Max is up to date with vaccinations , neutered,micro-chipped and heartworm tested negative. Max is in Run 27 and his ID is 613543.

Max recently attended an off-site adoption event and this is what a volunteer had to say - "I feel so badly for Max. He came with us to our Petsmart adoptions yesterday. He is a VERY handsome boy!! Quite the head-turner. He is very quiet in his kennel and really does not understand why he is in this loud, scary place after having a home for so many years. He walks well on a leash and he takes treats gently from your fingers. Please go meet this handsome boy and get him out of the scary shelter."
