13116 Beau (877)

Days in Shelter: 86

Beau was hanging around someone’s Air BnB for a few days, probably looking for a comfy place to lay his head. He’s been here since August 23rd, and since then, the volunteers have had so many great things to say about him. His volunteer comments card is filled with things like, “this boy is so sweet,” and “SO MUCH FUN!!!” Beau likes to play fetch and is the Frisbee King. He knows how to sit and is leash trained.

Beau is one year old, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines.

13273 Finn (835)

Days in Shelter: 79

Finn was very anxious when he first came to the shelter on August 30th. The kind people that found him brought him to the vet to get checked out, and he had to be sedated to allow an exam. We started him on anxiety medication when he got to the shelter, and he has improved! His last anxiety checkup was on September 9th, and he was easy to handle and allowed a full exam, so they discontinued his anxiety medication.

Finn is seven, negative for heartworms, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.

13394 Luna (22)

Days in Shelter: 74

Luna was surrendered by her owner on September 5th because they were going through some housing issues. They said Luna is good with other dogs as long as they behave, and they said she is not bothered by cats. Luna is reported to be good with children, housebroken, and crate trained. She has some skin allergies, and she received treatment for pyoderma and ear infections when she first came to the shelter. She was also receiving treatment for anxiety, but she has improved so those medications have been discontinued. Our volunteers say Luna is a very sweet girl that is great on leash, knows “sit,” and loves fetch!

Luna is five years old, intact, heartworm negative, and has received all vaccines minus the Rabies vaccine.

13449 Ramona (854)

Days in Shelter: 71

We picked Ramona up on September 7th while she was out on an adventure with a couple other dogs. She was the only one that was contained and brought to the shelter. Ramona has some skin issues that have been improving with medicated baths and antibiotics.

Ramona is three years old, intact, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccines except the Rabies vaccine.

13514 Ghost & 13515 Exso (832)

Days in Shelter: 69

These sweet guys were surrendered on September 9th and had to complete a stray hold because there was someone else listed as their owner on their microchips. They are reported to be potty trained and good with kids, cats, and dogs!  The volunteers here love taking them out for walks and say both boys are very active and playful. Ghost is a stick guy and loves to be chased around, and Exso is more of a lover boy that wants all the pets, but they both are very good boys that would love to get out of the shelter!

Both Ghost and Exso are around 4 years old, neutered, heartworm negative, and UTD on vaccines.

13743 Shmitty (28)

Days in Shelter: 61

Shmitty was surrendered on September 18th because her owners thought she became too excitable and territorial after having a litter of puppies a couple years ago. We can’t speak for her previous behavior, but with us, she is very shy and timid. Our volunteers say she may be reserved at first, but if you give her a chance, she warms up to affection she clearly wants.

Shmitty is around 4 years old, spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccines. She is reported to be dog friendly and house trained.

13762 Pepsi (300)

Days in Shelter: 60

Precious Pepsi was brought to our shelter on September 18th as a stray. The Good Samaritan that found her walking on the side of the road brought her straight here, so we don’t have any information about how she is outside of the shelter, but she is an employee fav! Pepsi is one year old, spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccines.

13775 Rylo (881)

Days in Shelter: 59

“BALL IS LIFE,” reads Rylo’s volunteer comment card. This sweet guy needs an active family to keep up with his love of playing fetch. He may be energetic, but he is gentle and walks nicely on leash! Rylo came to us as a stray on September 19th after he was lucky enough to be found by a dog groomer. He got a warm bath and a good brushing and stayed the night at the groomer’s house. His finder/groomer said that he’s crate and potty trained, food motivated, and knows basic commands. All around, Rylo is an awesome dog, and we don’t understand why he hasn’t been adopted yet! Rylo is 4-5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccines.

13788 Radar (859)

Days in Shelter: 59

Radar was surrendered with two other dogs on September 19th because their owner was facing health issues. The others have both been adopted, and now it’s time for Radar to get out of here, too! Our volunteers have rated him as an A+ dog, saying he knows a few tricks, walks well on leash, and overall is “a real pleasure to walk 😊.” He was recently checked out by the vet staff for excessive itching, and they think he has skin allergies that are leading to yeast infections and pyoderma. He is currently on several medications to help treat this. Other than that, he’s in good health! He is around 5 years old, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccines. We hope you keep him on your Radar and come get him ASAP!
