Shire 16561 in kennel 807

Intake Date: 1/27/2026

Intake Type: Stray

Shire was wandering on a busy road and luckily, someone stopped to help him! They said he was wearing a collar with a leash, but he was not reclaimed by his owner. He was brought right to the shelter, so the finder didn’t know much about Shire’s personality. But from what we have seen here, we think he is such a sweetheart, laid back and quiet. He is a perfect gentleman on the leash, and he knows to sit when asked. He’s been receiving treatment for skin issues, which have improved significantly!

  • 56 pounds at last weigh in

Jackie 16582 in kennel 811

Intake Date: 1/27/2026

Intake Type: Stray

Jackie was found roaming a neighborhood in January. She is good on leash and knows sit, stay, and down. She’s known to be a calm, sweet girl, but recently, we’ve noticed some behavior changes with Jackie. Likely due to the amount of time she has spent in the shelter, she has started to occasionally bark aggressively at the door when people walk by. She has not shown any aggression when the door is open and while outside of her kennel though! Jackie doesn’t have any problem with being handled and loves to be pet!

Baked Beans / Raven 16578 in kennel 28

Intake Date: 1/27/2026

Intake Type: Stray

You may be wondering why this little lady has two very different names. Her name on her microchip was Baked Beans, but she came in wearing a collar with the name Raven. So, she goes by both! This sweet girl adores people and is eager to please. She already knows sit, stay, and lay down, and she’s proud to show off her good manners. She listens well, enjoys learning, and is clearly the kind of dog who thrives on connection and praise. Baked Beans is also playful and fun, bringing just the right mix of joy and affection. Whether she’s showing off her skills, bouncing around happily, or leaning in for attention, she makes it clear she wants to be part of a family.
