Please see the attached photos of a probably middle aged neutered male pit. He was hanging out in the woods near a local Wendys in Toccoa. I (along with 3 others) have been feeding him for 3 months. We finally were able to get him this past weekend. I have him at my house temporarily, but within a month or so I will be moving. I haven’t yet taken him to the vet. I’ll try to do that this Saturday to check for heart worms, GI worms, examination, etc. He limps when it’s a rainy day and then doesn’t limp when it’s sunny. I think it’s either arthritis or an old injury. He was terrified of people but he’s coming around nicely now. I’m certain that he was either horribly abused or fought. Once he’s comfortable with you, he behaves like a perfect gentleman.
I’m willing to transport him and pay for sponsorship if I can find a rescue group who will assist him.
Thanks in advance, John Karn 706-599-7260.
