Subject: Fwd: Conway, SC-JRT female-will be euthanized without rescue, HW+Hi everyone,
Our little local shelter here in Horry County has a kill rate of 80%. If a dog comes in HW+, they immediately euthanize. I asked them to PLEASE let me know if any JRT or rat terrier comes in that they are going to euthanize so that I could try to find a place for them to go and of course, within 24 hours, I get my first call from the shelter. Here is the little girl's information below. Of course, I would be more than happy to pull her and transport her a few hours up the road if there is someone that can help her. The pull fee is free for anyone that can help her! Time is NOT on our side here because intake at this shelter is huge. I was there for 30 minutes one day and witnessed NINE dogs turned in. Is there anyone out there willing to help this sweet girl?
Thanks!Cooper

Subject: JRT female forward to debbie saxonThis is the heartworm positive JRT female that I have here at the shelter. She really needs to be placed ASAP. I have been holding on to her for two weeks now because she came in with a pup and we kept her with the pup until it was ready to go up for adoption. She is not leash trained so there are no standing pictures of her but she fits the profile to a tee! And she does have the docked tail. She is very sweet and loves to be held. She is about 3 years old and other than the leash training she listens very well.
