Zeus 13353 – kennel 408
Zeus hasn’t been here for that long, but he needs to leave the shelter immediately. He was surrendered by his owner on September 3rd, and he has had a very difficult time adjusting to shelter life. During his exam before getting neutered on the 10th, our vet described him as “not willing to engage. He is hyper-alert, trembling, tail down, with tense ears and eyes.” A few days after his surgery, he was noted to be very lethargic. Since then, he has started to shut down. He refuses to go outside and seems to be extremely depressed. Zeus is a sweet guy that needs your support to get back to a normal, happy life!
He's currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection and anxiety. He has previously been treated for a flea allergy. Zeus is currently in kennel 408, in our sick bay. He can still be adopted, but we wanted him off the main floor so he can be in a quieter area. He is around 3 years old, 70 pounds, and is heartworm negative.
