Fendi is a 5yr, 13lb, intact female, Chihuahua that was surrendered 4/16. The owner was moving out of state and couldn’t take her. Fendi is reported to be housebroken and good with dogs. She was very frightened and didn’t want staff to handle her during intake (growling/trying to bite) so she has not been vaccinated or heartworm tested yet. She has been started on anxiety meds but is still very guarded and not doing well in the shelter environment. Fendi 9422 cage 207 |

Buddy is a 3yr, 11lb, heartworm negative, intact male, Chi. He was surrendered by his owner 3/30. The owner said they have had him for about 6 months but can’t handle his “aggression.” They said he resource guards and has bitten multiple family members. He can be sweet and allows shelter staff to handle him, but gets grumpy (growling/showing teeth) once he’s had enough. He doesn’t like things in his face but is better outside the cage. Max is a 6yr Pit/Corgi(?) mix that was surrendered by his owner 4/4 because he attacked the neighbor’s cat and bit the owner in the process. Max is a cute boy but does not do well with other animals and will need to be an only dog. Here in the shelter, he’s a little shy. He is okay outside of his kennel but can be a bit guarded or cage aggressive in the kennel. Max is intact and heartworm negative. Max 9076 cage 202 |

Royal is a 4yr Poodle/Spaniel mix. He is intact and heartworm negative. Royal was surrendered by his owner on 4/10. The owner had a female and two male dogs – all intact. The female dog was in heat so naturally the two boys were fighting over her. Royal accidently bit the owner when being separated. Royal is a little cautious here, but sweet and quiet.
