15103 Finn in kennel 55 – needs out ASAP!

Finn was a lost boy on November 17th, and someone found him on a major road. Luckily, he didn’t get hurt! He came to us wearing a collar and leash, so he had a family, but they never came to pick him up. Finn is an energetic boy who loves to play! Our volunteers say he loves rope toys, he’s great on leash, and knows sit.

15105 Midnight in kennel 53 – needs out ASAP!

This handsome guy came to the shelter as a stray on November 17th. He has a microchip, but his owners didn’t come for him. Since coming to the shelter, Midnight has been neutered and was treated for some minor skin issues and tapeworms, which have resolved. CCAS volunteers enjoy taking him out for walks and say he loves to run around and play fetch in the off-leash area.

Midnight’s Stats:

– see also 10630 Umi in kennel 876

Blue came to us originally in June of last year with his “sister” Umi. They were reclaimed by their owner that day, but Blue came back on November 20th and was not reclaimed this time. Umi came back in on December 3rd and was not reclaimed either. They don’t have to be adopted/rescued together, but it would be nice if they did.

Blue’s Stats:

15366 Bella in kennel 805

Bella’s family moved to a new home and weren’t allowed to take her with them. She came to us on November 29th and honestly, we’re surprised she hasn’t been snatched up yet! Her volunteer comment card shows she’s a “volunteer fave.” One comment says, “I just heart this sweet girl!” They also say Bella loves playing in the off-leash area with her favorite red ball.

Bella’s Stats:

15403 Yoda in kennel 853

Yoda, this is. A stray on December 1st, she was. To play fetch and be pet, she loves. Tricks like “sit” and “shake,” she knows. Come and get her, you must. Jedi mind trick this is not.

Yoda’s Stats:

Heartworm negative

Up to date on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines

40 pounds at last weigh in

60 days in shelter

15512 Alfie in kennel 808

Alfie was brought to the shelter on December 6th after spending a few days with the person that found him wandering their neighborhood. Both the finder and our staff/volunteers believe him to be housebroken, so that’s a good sign that he is. Our volunteers also say he is calm and sweet and walks nicely on leash. One volunteer says he is “truly a fine young fella!”

Alfie’s Stats:

6 years old

Heartworm negative

Up to date on DHPP and Bordetella vaccines

15541 Athena and 15542 Mulan in kennel 58

These “sisters” were surrendered on December 7th because their owner had a housing issue. Both of them were on the nervous side, but they seem to have opened up since coming to the shelter. Our volunteers think they are both very sweet and easy to walk. Athena and Mulan don’t have to be adopted/rescued together, but it would be wonderful if they could stay together in their next chapter.

Athena’s Stats:

15583 Sandor in kennel 57

A nice police officer found Sandor on December 9th and brought him to the shelter. We don’t know why he hasn’t been snatched up yet. He has the most beautiful eyes that will make your heart melt with one look! It sounds like his previous family trained him pretty well, though. He knows some commands, like sit, up, and down, and he can even catch treats that are tossed to him. Come get this sweet boy!

Sandor’s Stats:

6 years old

Neutered

Heartworm negative

Up to date on DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines

60 pounds at last weigh in

51 days in shelter

15632 Gus in kennel 29

Gus came to the shelter on December 12th as a stray. His history isn’t clear, but it’s possible that he was living out of a car with his owner until a Good Samaritan volunteered to take him in to bring him here. Volunteers have awesome things to say about him: Gus is referred to as an “official A+ dog,” and a “handsome, lovable, gentleman.”

Gus’s Stats:

1 year old

Intact

Heartworm negative

Up to date on DHPP and Bordetella vaccines

50 pounds at last weigh in

49 days in shelter
