Dream 11648 – kennel 854

Days in Shelter - 57

You may recognize Dream from our last long-timer post. She is now our longest resident! Dream was surrendered by her owner on July 3rd and her life turned into a nightmare. She doesn’t want to be in the loud shelter! She wants to be in a comfortable home! Come help her achieve her dreams. In the meantime, she’ll be napping in kennel 854. She’s around 2 years old, intact, and heartworm negative.

Carlson – 11719 – kennel 880

Days in Shelter – 54

Carlson and his sister Caroline were on an adventure at the beginning of July and were picked up by a Good Samaritan. They both had collars and leashes, but no one ever came for them. Caroline has already been adopted, so Carlson is here all by himself! He went to an adoption event a few weeks ago and was sadly overlooked. He was also last week’s Pet of the Week but is unfortunately still here.  Come give Carlson the love and attention he deserves! He is around 6 years old, neutered, and heartworm negative. He’s patiently waiting in kennel 880.

Scamp – 11770 – kennel 809

Days in Shelter – 52

This little Scamp has been in the shelter since July 8th. His finder said he was running loose at a dog park and had some minor injuries, so they took him in for a few weeks while he recovered. They said he had some wounds on his head and a missing dewclaw. We think Scamp is an appropriate name for him, as he reportedly destroyed TWO wire crates at the finder’s house!  But it’s hard to be mad at him with a cute face like that. The finder says he was good with their dog, but they reported some possible resource guarding. Our staff has not noticed any issues, but we think it’s important to mention. Scamp is around a year and a half, intact, and heartworm negative. Come see this sweet boy in kennel 809.
