Our current longest timers are Hershey and Kisses. They were found and brought to the shelter together back in February. We don’t know if they actually lived together previously, but they have been fine staying in the same cage together. They can be rescued/adopted together, but they do NOT have to be. Hershey has done great in a couple dog tests. If they go to separate homes, Kisses would do best as an only dog or with a very submissive dog like Hershey. These two babies need out of the shelter the most (as soon as possible)!
Snickers and Mochi were also found together. Some think Mochi may be Snickers’ daughter. It appears poor Snickers has had plenty of children before. Unfortunately she can’t be spayed here due to a heart murmur. Whether they are related or not, they can be adopted/rescued together or separately. Both are very sweet and seem to be good with both dogs and cats!
The shelter has been very full and/or at capacity lately. As school gets out its just going to get worse with owner surrenders and strays. The shelter is full of great dogs (and cats), but these sweet boys and girls have been here the longest and need out the soonest! Please come meet them and rescue one! All are altered, except Snickers. All are heartworm negative! All have (or will have) sponsorship money available to licensed rescue.
