As mentioned, this dog had gone into boarding since Kim had a full-house already. She just received a call that the little beagle disappeared from the fenced playgroup while the staff was unloading a truck outside.

Hi, all. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Let me explain my situation a little more.
I have rescued in Alabama for the past 7 years, so unfortunately
know the dismal situation for animals in the SE. I just moved to GA, so
do not have a network like I used to have. If I were still in AL I would
already have a plan worked up for this sweet
girl. But I know no one in GA yet that is in rescue and have no
support.
I just moved into a house last week after living in temporary
housing for the past two months. I already have 8 dogs and several cats,
and the majority have been in boarding that whole time. I still have
two boarded because our place is not ready for
their special needs yet, so my boarding bill is enormous.
The one space I had to foster this little girl is a kennel built by
the previous owner of our house. However, she keeps escaping it. I had
nowhere to take her yesterday, and I called every vet in Covington.
None would help me. Finally, Fantana Farms,
a boarding facility near Covington, agreed to board her, but not for
free; I am paying $22 a day. I can't sustain this for long. I had to get
her shots, as well, in order for them to board her. I am worming her
myself and have done flea treatment, so she just
needs heartworm test and spay. She is only around 1 year old, so hoping
she is negative for heartworms.
She is extremely sweet and gentle; just craving love. I have seen
her be very gentle with cats and other dogs while we were at the vet.
She is also very smart and quick to learn.
I live in the country so sadly see lots of dogs on the road every
day on my long commute to work. But I just could not leave this one.
If anyone can possibly help me find a foster for this girl I would
so appreciate it. I cannot bring her back to my house, and I cannot
afford a boarding bill. For the first time in 7 years of doing this
heartbreaking work, I feel totally helpless.
