2Kreleased WWE 2K23 update 1.21 on November 15th. Unfortunately, no patch notes have been shared, but the effects have been felt. Per popular community creator whatsthestatus on Twitter, the update added a mod blocker. This means that any future modded creations cannot be added to community creations. Modded creations uploaded before patch 1.21 such as Rhea Ripley with her new custom hair are fine, but anything after patch 1.21 cannot be uploaded.

WWE video games have had a form of community creations dating back to the SmackDown vs. Raw series. Multiple fans of the WWE video games and been creating amazing wrestlers, rings, championships, and more to help other players create the game they want. You can always expect some amazing creators to help you get wrestlers that aren't in the yearly titles whether working elsewhere or leaving WWE.

The WWE video games community has made it possible to transfer WWE 2K22 into something more along the lines of a New Japan Pro-Wrestling, ECW, or even a modern-day WCW video game. There are so many amazing creators that have hundreds of things to download and many even have Patreons you can support if you would like to. With the release of 2K23 on the horizon, let's look back at some of the best creations you can find on 2K22.

For anyone who is looking to find a more modern version of Edge with his shorter hair and a couple of updated attires should look no further. This custom-made Edge features his Brood-inspired attire and the white and red Canadian attire he wore on Monday Night Raw.

This created wrestler is one of the many you can find on the community creations that almost look like it was made by 2K themselves. There are a few other versions just like this with different attires as well.

Making her debut in the upcoming WWE 2K23, anyone wanting to play as her a little early can download this amazing created wrestler of the current NXT Women's Champion. Roxanne has had a very impressive NXT career by quickly becoming NXT Women's Tag Team Champion and NXT Women's Champion in a very short time.

The WWE 2K22 community also makes more than just wrestlers, proven here by this amazing AEW Full Gear 2022 arena. Coming equipped with a highly detailed entrance ramp and working titantrons. The creator of this arena, JENA, also has some other amazing arenas even including some original recreations of shows like Monday Night Raw and WCW Starrcade.

Speaking of AEW, a highly created wrestler during the last couple of 2K games, Jon Moxley. This Moxley comes with two very realistic attires that Moxley has worn in recent AEW shows including a Blackpool Combat Club hoodie.

Moxley would make his final appearance in a WWE game with the 2K19 entry under his Dean Ambrose name. Moxley being one of the biggest names in wrestling will easily be a face you see on the community creations front page with 2K23.

One of the other biggest names in AEW, the five-star bout machine, Kenny Omega. Omega has been one of the top downloaded characters in recent 2K entries and easily will be for the following years to come. This version of Omega features four different attires to choose from.

A lot of fans were upset when 2K22 was released to see a very outdated Sami Zayn by that point. Many fans have created very amazing look versions of Sami with his long hair and beard. This Sami comes equipped with a Bloodline t-shirt and his WrestleMania attire against Johnny Knoxville.

As mentioned before, there is much more than wrestlers in the community creations. One of the best championships found in the game would be this creator IWGP Women's Championship. A vintage-looking title held by Kairi and the recently debuted Mercedes Mone.

Much like her former partner, making her debut in 2K23, players can decide to play as former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Cora Jade. This version only comes with one attire, but there are many to find in the community creations including more updated selections.

Any WWE game wouldn't be complete with hundreds of CM Punks flooding the front page on day one. This version is one of the best found including two AEW attires including his long tights and a pair of short trunks with his tank top and hoodie. You can also find many amazing versions of Punk throughout his career in the game.

The grandson of a plumber would leave AEW shortly after the release of this game, quickly becoming one of the most downloaded characters after making his return to the WWE. Proving that CM Punk is not the only royalty among 2K creators.

Coming fitted with two amazing attires and highly detailed jackets. There are similar versions including his Hell in a Cell injury if looking for that as well. Expect to see Cody fall from the community creations once he makes his return to the 2K series with 2K23.

In PGA Tour 2K23, players can tee off on 20 officially licensed golf courses from around the world and custom courses created by the community. Players will also have access to other modes, such as Topgolf and new DLC content, as four additional courses have already been announced but have yet to receive an official release date. In the meantime, players seeking more gameplay variety can access hundreds of custom courses created and uploaded by other 2K players.

Thanks to the game's course designer feature, PGA Tour 2K23 players can channel their inner creativity to design any number of unique golf courses. Once these custom customs have been uploaded, they can be downloaded and used by any other player. Additionally, players will have access to all custom courses that have been uploaded, as well as several filters to find the most popular course creations.

PGA Tour 2K23 players can access the game's custom courses from the main menu by navigating to the 'casual' section. A number of recommended custom courses will be displayed on this screen. In addition, players can access several filters to explore the extensive catalog of custom courses. Players can use the 'Suggested' and 'Trending' filters to find the most popular courses or enable the 'More Filters' option to search for a specific course. Each course is rated on a 5-star system, and each creation can be saved to the 'Favorites' tab to ensure quick and easy access in future gameplay sessions.

Once players have found a suitable custom course by using these filters, they can access the community creations immediately. Players can load straight into a single-player session by simply selecting any custom course on this menu. Players can decide on the course format, as well as the number of holes that are to be played. These courses are often extremely challenging and rarely resemble the 20 official PGA Tour 2K23 courses. Putting islands, yachts and helipads are just some unique course design features players can expect to encounter from course to course, as there are few parameters placed on players seeking to create the wildest course in the game.

While the custom courses in PGA Tour 2K23 are easily discoverable and accessible to players, their usage in the game is currently limited. Unlike the game's 20 official courses, players can only access these custom courses in local play from the 'Casual' menu page. Players will also be unable to master these courses in the game's career mode, as community creations are currently excluded from the game's flagship mode.

The PGA Tour 2K23 course designer has already proven to be a popular feature in this year's installment, with players designing and uploading hundreds of custom courses since the game's release earlier this month. These creations have provided players with an entertaining way to diversify their virtual golfing experience beyond the 20 official PGA Tour courses. While the use of these courses is currently limited, future patches and updates may allow PGA Tour 2K23 players to master them with some of their favorite golfing superstars in other game modes.

WWE fans have been busy since the launch of WWE 2K24, as the game brought a host of new match types and gameplay additions with its latest entry. It also introduced even more options to use in the Community Creations mode, and that's saying something after seeing what people ended up creating in WWE 2K23. Whether you're looking for more arenas, updated Superstar attires, or wrestlers who aren't in the game or in a different company (like say AEW), you'll likely find what you're looking for in Community Creations. That's why we've collected some of the best creations released so far in one place, and you can check them all out on the next slide.

Regarding the aforementioned outside companies, wrestlers from outside companies like AEW, TNA, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are always some of the most popular downloads, and that isn't changing this year. AEW stars like Kenny Omega, Samoa Joe, Toni Storm, Mariah May, Eddie Kingston, and more are already available and playable in the game courtesy of creators, and the work isn't stopping either, as there are already several promising in-progress creations for recent additions like Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone.

It's not just about outside companies though, as while the roster this year is impressive, it still doesn't include everyone on the current roster, especially in NXT. Several NXT superstars have now found their way into the game though thanks to custom creations, and then there's the world outside of wrestling, which even includes fan-favorite superheroes.

There are also a host of updated arenas for this year's SmackDown and Monday Night Raw, as well as a few AEW arenas (with their updated looks), and that's on top of the custom ones you can find. Even Dynamite's updated look is represented in the game already, and that just happened.

You'll also find a host of alternate attires for the game's lengthy roster of WWE Superstars, and several Superstars already have a massive list of options to choose from. Whether it's a one-time look from a premium live event or just one of several slick gears used on Raw, SmackDown, or NXT, there are a host of different looks to download, especially for Superstars who frequently change their look like Seth Rollins, Tiffany Stratton, Cody Rhodes, Roxanne Perez, and Liv Morgan.
