Plot Summary

One day, he witnesses a bomb blast at a public rally organized by Rana (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a powerful politician who is running for the prime minister's post. Raj recognizes Rana as the mastermind behind a terrorist attack that he had foiled during his army days. He decides to expose Rana's involvement in the blast, but before he can do so, Rana's men attack his home and kill his wife and daughter.
Devastated by the loss of his family, Raj vows to take revenge on Rana and his associates. He becomes a krantikari (revolutionary) who targets Rana's illegal businesses and political allies. He also hacks into Rana's social media accounts and exposes his crimes to the public. Along the way, he meets Maya (Deepika Padukone), an investigative journalist who is also working on exposing Rana. They team up and fall in love with each other.
As Raj and Maya get closer to Rana, they face many obstacles and dangers from his henchmen and the police. They also discover that Rana has a secret weapon that can destroy the country if he becomes the prime minister. Will Raj and Maya be able to stop Rana and his evil plans?
