Data API - filtering data aggregated by day/month

Hi,
I would like to know if there's a way to apply filters to time-
aggregated data (by day, by month) through the WebService/Rest API.
Unfortunately in the “258” table (the one devoted to aggregation)
there aren’t hints for regular expression filters like this one:
u:request_stem=~^/www.mysite.com/mychannel/(ch1|ch2|ch3)/mypage.html

The only dimensions available are “day,month,year,total”.

In short I'm looking for a query that returns daily(and possibly
monthly) aggregated “visits,pages” metrics filtered by url.

hi Cristian,

the API v1.0 doesn't provide such functionality.
good news though, we plan to introduce filtering by dimensions/metrics linked with a visit in the v2.0.

can you provide more information on when the new API version will be
introduced? (weeks, months, years?)

Will it be necessary ro re-purchase the activation license?

we usually do not make unofficial announcements of the release date, I may only say that it's somewhere in Q1-Q2 2010. the upgrade policy will be announced at the same time.
