Getting No Results With Coded Filters And Profiles in Urchin 6.602

I have several profiles that I've created. Each will be used by a
different group of people and is supposed to display reports only for
their group's website folders, for which they are responsible. Some of
the profiles are only supposed to have one folder associated with
them, while others will have two. I have tried running and rerunning
the reports for one of the simplest of the profiles which is supposed
to capture all of the traffic statistics for the following path folder
(everything underneath this level which is accessed/requested). Here's
the path of the folder:

/academics/non_credit_courses

Now since I'm not getting any results I'm wondering what I have missed
in reading the documentation. For this profile I have specified the
settings for the reports that I want displayed. I have also selected
all four of our standard log files to be used by this profile. Since
I've attempted to run it previously now when I try to run another
iteration of the reports, I also delete the previous data results. I
have specified myself as a user, and I have scheduled the profile to
run monthly. I have created a filter called Academic Non Credit and
within it I have specified a large number of variations of the above
folder path as the field pattern some as regular expressions and some
not. I have also specified for the different field pattern variations
several of the field filters available (request_directory (AUTO),
request_stem (AUTO), and request_uri (AUTO)) and none of them see to
bring back any data, but if I go and look at the reports for the main
profile of the website it show a lot of data. So after all this is
there any step by step procedure for creating a new profile and then
also creating a new filter to be used by it, somewhere in the
documentation? I have almost exhausted all of the options that I can
think of short of deleting the filter and then recreating it new for
the profile every time I want to rerun the reports. Let me know if I
have not been clear enough or specific enough in describing this
problem. Thanks.
