Class,

All assigned readings for the rest of the semester are now up on the
Google Group. Please try to always bring your readings to class. For
next week, we will discuss discrimination and segregation in housing
and work, and also begin talking about deindustrialization. So you
should be up to speed on the readings for weeks 6 and 7 as they are
listed in the syllabus.

If you have questions about the main themes we discussed last night,
please jot them down and bring them to class next week, or shoot me an
email. These topics aren't always easy at first, so don't ever be
afraid to ask!
