As you might already know, City University of New York, Colorado State University, The Small Earth Nepal, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology and Department of Livestock Services/Government of Nepal
, Agriculture and Forestry University, and Nepal Agricultural Research Council
are holding the
International Conference on Climate Change Innovation and Resilience for Sustainable Livelihood during 12-14 January 2015 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The three-day event will bring together eminent scientists, government officials, and development workers in nonprofit and for-profit enterprises to discuss promising new approaches
for integrating science, policy, and action in climate change mitigation
and adaptation across greater South Asia.
We are re-circulating the announcement to remind you to spread the word to relevant researchers, students, professors, and development workers in your network. We are accepting abstracts in multidisciplinary areas under four major themes: Climate Change, Water Resources Management, Agriculture and Livestock, and Gender and Livelihood. All the selected papers for the conference will be published in a proceedings volume. Selected papers will also be
considered for publication in special issues of the peer-reviewed journals
Climate and
International Journal of Water.
