The last time that we talked, you let us know that we have 500.00 in
funds from our ACA grant. Do we now have permission to spend out that
funding?
If so, I would like to place an order for 5 usb arduino boards, and 2
bluetooth BlueSMiRF modems.
One of these arduinos needs to go to Jessica, in order to replace her
arduino that I used to construct one of our instruments.
The other four arduinos are for use with the next generation of
instrument construction.
usb arduino board = $29.95 each x 5 qty = $149.75
BlueSMiRF = $64.95 each x 2 qty = $129.90
Total = $279.65

Building out our instruments has been extremely cost effective. We
are way ahead on budget. As far as equipment, we will need to
purchase a FM broadcaster kit, some handheld radios for reception,
perhaps our own small 8 channel mini mixer board, and a cost effective
surround sound speaker system like the one we used to use at Matthews
I-Stage. I think we might be able to pull this off with the remainder
of our budget. This of course is to build for the long term, and not
for the Xfest. It looks like we have everything that we need for
XFest.

I have a few small additional puchases I made for the wearables that I would like to include in the budget. Neoprene fabric for the wearables, small lights bought from Ikea that will change color with movement, and lithium batteries to run the wiimotes once they've been hacked apart. I have receipts for the lights, and will recieve a receipt for the neoprene and batteries once they get in.
