Just a reminder that Emma has resigned as groundskeeper. Before we begin a job search we want to re-asses
  1. what vegetation is essential
  2. the care our landscape needs

Meet in courtyard Wed. 5:15 pm

1. Walk grounds and identify vegetation that is creating un- necessary landscape work and recommend this list to the community for either removal of vegetation or assign community stewards to care for plants or areas.

Time permitting after walk about review Groundskeeper job description

2. Review landscape job description, (attached)  add or eliminate current job duties. Help revise job description so it is clear and structured, where needed.

I was hoping to attend this meeting but the Grant Writing Committee is also meeting at 7:30pm on the 27th so several of us will not be able to attend both.
Perhaps there can be an option for people to review the notes and provide thoughts if they are unable to attend the meeting?

I'll also miss this meet up since I'm out of town, but would be happy to weigh in if possible. I'm down to catch up on notes.

I am available to walk through.
Three thoughts.
Remove some of the mature myrtle "bushes".
Use sedum and other ground covers strategically to reduce the need to pull out weedy grasses.
Have banana stewards to manage each clump.

Thank you Lara, good suggestions.

Please keep in mind, that if stewards are not found for things like bananas,  they maybe removed.

So please give input of your participation
