It's beautiful ash mulch. Kudos to Emma for scoring this. We plan to start mulching pathways and around trees  after 3 pm.

I've never seen such fabulous ash mulch!

Seriously, it's super fresh and very little debris. Thank you everyone who helped make it happen, we have needed mulch for a while and now we seem to have a hookup. :)
