Hi all, Several spigots need replacing on our rain tanks so we can turn them on & off as needed. At present several we can't close the broken ones when it rains.
The weather forecast is for continued weather extremes so we want to be able to collect water when it rains.
I believe these are the parts we need. If someone knows better than me, would you please let us know?
Good news : We can store over 5000 gal of water / rainfall so a $50 investment in 8 spigots and seals will save us a lot of $$ on our water bill.

report in LAist
What to expect: The latest outlook from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association predicts a 71% chance of La Niña conditions this fall. For Southern California, that global climate pattern historically has meant drier winters. But a warming planet is making rainfall, when it does come, more extreme. “We really do expect more of the same, which is big swings in our weather,” said Karla Nemeth, the director of the state’s Department of Water Resources.

I saw some of the replacement adapters in the basement, there is a box with irrigation supplies.

Additionally the spigots you linked would require changing the entire fixture. But the connector that came with the tanks takes
a 1" NPT thread to hose thread adapter, maybe we only need to replace that part?

Thanks so much, Federico. I am really inexperienced with these so I appreciate your input.  I'll check them out next week.
