hey mark, this is great! I should have a chance to check out the latest code and pick at things today.

I haven't announced a meeting, but I plan on being at Backspace at 3pm today. Rick committed himself as well.

Join us on IRC if you can't make it physically: #urbanedibles on freenode.net

thanks for you work this week. hopefully we'll have some progress to report this evening. I'll also be at the Dorkbot talks tonight: http://calagator.org/events/1250457491

I've updated the hg repository with a working admin interface to the UE
application.

It sort of works.  (it doesn't crash when you hit the admin views to
each of the models)

We have a lot of stuff to add, and re-think.

ToDos:
* add media handling for photos
* add geo-location bits
* lots of work to do with the recipe model design
* Re-think the model fields.  I expect we'll re-do them significantly
now that its possible to see them through the admin page.

After some of these are done we can start on some templates, but I would
like to feel good about the core models before starting the templates,
so please take a look and feel free to change stuff and contribute. :)

Feel free to comment and / or update (significantly if needed.)
thanks,

I'll be at the dorkbot thing tonight too.

I don't know yet if I'll be at backspace. It depends on me getting a
make file working to build s *.so file first. I need it done for work
before tomorrow.

It should be easy but I keep hitting small issues that are pissing me
off. So now I'm building a newer version of GCC hoping that fixes the
issue. :(

Maybe Ill see you at backspace later...
