Dear Academy Members and Friends,

The Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy will be hosting the California Collegiate League All-Star Game tomorrow night. The game will be nationally televised live on Fox Sports West, beginning at 7 p.m. PST.

The California Collegiate League is the league in which our premier college level team, the Academy Barons, participate. The game features two teams; the CCL North and the CCL South. The Barons players will participate on the CCL South team, the home team in this game. The game will showcase the top talent in the League, including our very own OF DJ Wallace, LHP Jason Broussard, and UTIL Juan Avena. As of now, Juan will be starting at first base and batting 7^th in the lineup. DJ will be the secondary DH, batting 6^th in the lineup. Jason will throw the top half of the 5^th inning.

We hope to make this a very festive event. Feel free to invite your families and friends. Admission is $10 for adults, while youth 12 and under are free. See you there!
