Letters to the Commissioner
Urban Youth Academy
Dear Academy Members and Friends,
As you may know, Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig will be retiring this year. As a parting gift, the Academy would like to present the Commissioner with a book of letters written to him by Academy members explaining what the Academy means to them.
We are asking all members to write a letter to Mr. Selig describing how the Academy has positively affected them. Please include the following:
· Your name
· When you became a member
· What the Academy has helped you accomplish
All members that write a letter will be invited to attend a pizza party. You may turn in letters to Tiara Gose via email at Tiara...@mlb.com or in the Academy front office. Letters are due no later than December 15, 2014.
Don’t forget to cross your t’s and dot your i’s!
