Former Dodgers All-Star pitcher bringing 15-under squad to Southern California;
Team managed by former Angels reliever Shigetoshi Hasegawa also will participate
Former Dodgers Rookie of the Year and All-Star pitcher Hideo Nomo, who threw two no-hitters while pitching for the Dodgers in 1996 and the Boston Red Sox in 2001, will manage an All-Japan 15-U team against the MLB Urban Youth Academy USA team in the Japan-USA Youth Baseball Exhibition Series 2012 at the MLB Urban Youth Academy. The USA team will be managed by former Angels relief pitcher Shigetoshi Hasegawa. Proceeds will be used to help fund a trip by a USA youth team to Japan in 2013.
