The statement is good butI wonder if there is any way, at this late
date, to include a couple of the points made by the participants in
the meeting that Don attended.
1. There should be a strong statement of the value of the amusement
park as a goal. What about public ownership or something close to
that? The recent bid by the woman who had experience and who wanted to
continue the lease was turned down by Thor and it was an unfortunate
shame.
Anyway, if not to late, I would like to see a clear statement about
the need to preserve and promote the early 20th century amusements as
updated for the 21st century as a city goal.
