Everyday Quran & Hadith ( Surah Maidah Contd....., Ayat 41)

  "Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; 

And consult with them in ways that are best and most gracious."
(Al Qur'an, 16:125)

As-Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatul-lahi Wa Barakaatuhu

 

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ  

 

يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا آَمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ آَخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِهِ يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُوا وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآَخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿5:41﴾ 

(5:41) O Messenger! Do not be grieved on account of those who vie with one another in disbelieving even though they be those who say with their mouths: 'We believe' even though their hearts have no faith or they be Jews who have their ears eagerly turned to falsehood  and spy for other people who did not chance to come to you, who pervert the words of Allah, taking them out of their proper context in order to distort their meaning. They say to people: 'If such and such teaching is given to you, accept it; if you are not given that, then beware! You can be of no avail to him whom Allah wills to fall into error. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not want to purify.  For them there is degradation in this world and a mighty chastisement in the Next.

Volume 9, Book 92, Number 461: (Sahih Bhukhari)

Narrated Ubaidullah:

Ibn 'Abbas said, "Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while

your Book (Quran) which has been revealed to Allah's Apostle is newer and the

latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the

people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it,

and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for

a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from

asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them

asking you regarding what has been revealed to you!"
