Palestinian Solidarity Week

Hey UPZ,

So as many of you know, it's been a heated week on campus. We've seen this campus become increasingly polarized. Jewish students and Muslim students are feeling threatened, confused, and outraged.

As the voice of the Zionist left at the University of Maryland, the Union of Progressive Zionists would like to offer a space to just discuss the week's events. We hope to debrief by hearing from a variety of perspectives and experiences and further we hope to provide a forum to discuss how we can move forward and work together towards understanding and peace.

WE WILL BE MEETING AT 6:00PM  THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 8TH.  The final location is still TBA, but I will let you all know as  soon as I can. Please bring your friends, roommates, classmates, and anyone who just needs a space to talk. We really want this to be a safe space for people to express their emotions and opinions and to work together to come up with productive steps toward mending some of the relationships that have been strained over the past week.
