OK everyone~my husband brought me home a rhubarb plant and once I read
about it online I felt a little discouraged. It says that it doesn't
grow well at all in this climate, but does great in the cooler
northern climates. Has anyone had success? if so, can you give me
some tips? Also, would it be possible to grow in a container? ~Tina

I have, and another woman in my neighborhood has (which gave me the idea
to give it a try anyway). I've since moved, but I find that they grow
well in part sun (maybe 6 hours of sun a day) especially if you can find
a spot that gives them shade during the hottest part of the day.

Lots of compost and don't let them dry out during drought, too.

I assume a container would be no problem, especially if it was a big
self-watering type.
