Wing inspection + reserve repack in the area?

Hi! I recently moved to Ithaca from the west coast. My wing is in need of an inspection and at least one line replacement, and my reserve is in need of a repack (bonus points if there's someone around here who could teach me, or at least inspect a wing I packed to see if I did it right). Are there any local(ish) folks who do that kind of work, or should I just ship my wing out west?

There is a parachute rigger in Rochester,  but if you need a PG inspection and line replacement and line trimming,  I recommend AirQuest in Pepperell, MA. They can also do the repack. They have very good turnaround time and offer excellent customer service.

Grace, there are some folks in the Rochester area who pack our own chutes.  We also have a local Master Rigger who packs reserves.  There is a guy in Ontario who makes lines and I think he inspects wings too.  There’s a guy in NH that does all of that too

For wing inspection, line check, and repairs you need to ship it out, either west or here in the East. Rob and Bob know who.

For chute repack you can either mail it to a repacker of your choice,  or it can be done locally here in Rochester.
