Way to pull off the downwinder!

Back in the day, a great contingent of Free Spirt Flyers went down for the Team Challenge event.  So memories for sure.   Even Kari Castle was there.
On a spectacular full moon night, many took off into the illuminated valley, LZ in sight plain as day.  One guy with strobes looped in front of launch.  Sadly, I had a couple  beers by then...dang I wanted to -but.

3 decades ago now?
