Dear Upstate Locavores,

A reminder about the potluck to be held tomorrow evening. If you still need some fresh produce for your dish, be sure to visit the Clemson University Student Organic Farm, open today (Wednesday) afternoon on campus.

See below for more details about the potluck - we hope to see you tomorrow evening! Don't forget to bring along a friend or two!

What: Upstate Locavores Fall Potluck – Our theme this year is: “Creating a Sustainable Food Future in the Upstate”
Who: For YOU, your family members and friends – all are welcome!

When: Thursday, October 13, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clemson, 226 Pendleton Road

Why: To learn more about supporting our local food system. Our guest speakers include Lisa Wagner (who will talk about “5 season gardening”) and Bub Dillon (who will provide an update on efforts to secure a facility to process local food). We will also provide you with an update on the Farm Bill.

Please bring a dish to share that contains at least one locally-grown or locally-produced ingredient. And, to make clean-up a bit easier, please bring your own tableware (e.g., plate, silverware, etc.)
